Ling-lin Ku won the UMLAUF Prize, a competition awarding an emerging artist a solo exhibition, in 2019. Originally from Taiwan, Ling-lin explores her sense of geographic displacement in her installations with a sense of humor and absurdity. For her exhibition, I put together a brochure design that echoes the playfulness and surreal quality in her work. Essay by independent arts journalist Mary K. Cantrell.
