In September of 2019, the artist Michael Ray Charles exhibited new work at the UMLAUF Sculpture Garden and Museum, and I was honored to design the promotional media for the show. In coordination with Katie Robinson Edwards, UMLAUF Curator, I put together a rack card and brochure using images of MRC's paintings. The strength of his compositions and subject matter paired nicely with the high contrast, minimal approach in these print designs.

Dr. Cherise Smith, Chair of African and African Diaspora Studies Department and Professor of African and African Diaspora Studies and Art History at UT Austin, wrote Michael Ray Charles: The Artist as Archivist for the UMLAUF exhibition Michael Ray Charles. I worked the essay into a trifold brochure with blocky, minimal design accents.
